dress: 1960's vintage
tights: HUE
heels: via thrift
The Peter Pan collar is still tucked securely over my heart - such a timeless detail provided by this dress from the 1960's. The small, rounded collars first became known as the "Peter Pan" when fairytale character Peter Pan himself was emblematically styled in one in a 1904 film.
I think mint is fresh paired with both lighter colours and black. These thick HUE tights were $17, but have been an invaluable addition to my wardrobe, as they're cold enough to keep that winter chill of my gams.
Unfortunately, I may be taking a blogging hiatus - slowdown? - for a few weeks. Last night, (well, at four in the morning yesterday,) my landlord drunkenly tried to break into my apartment and ended up assaulting another tenant who had accidentally left his door unlocked. Because my former home is no longer safe, (sad!) I'm living out of a suitcase and couch surfing while I get all my belongings stocked in storage and find a new place.
I don't know, maybe this will become "Living Out of a Suitcase: a Style Diary." Part of personal style is creativity, right? I'm frustrated right now, but I do love to blog! What do you think? Take a little break? Keep posting (less varied) outfits?

Thse traumatised and homesless- you still look a tres fabulous. This is actually one of my fav colour combos. I went to a wedding in these colours and it was spectacular!

Hi darling! amazing dress :) love your blog. what about to follow each other? :))
Kisses
Oh no, I'm sorry to hear about your problems with the apartment respectively with this drunk guy :-/ It's so exhausting when you live in a state of constant uneasiness. I think you don't need to make a decision about a blog hiatus, how about only posting when you feel like posting an outfit? Without advance notices about when and what and without excuses about being absent from the blog an all. Because the blog is meant to be fun for you, not a duty that puts you under (time) pressure ;)
On eof my favourite philosphers said "Everything flows." I'm sure everthing will go its way and after you've found a new and safer place to live you will feel good again.
Wishing you all the best for this project Mitzi!
By the way you look lovely in this mint dress, it's such a good colour with your hair and complexion :)
Beautiful look! That mint color looks so pretty! I love your dress :)
Have a good weekend!

I love the minty shade in your dress!
This is going to sound really random, but your face kinda resembles a mix of Adele and Zooey Deschanel ~! :D
