Unless it snows here, things remain green through the seasons. Spring/Summer/Fall/Winter really only differentiate from each other by how much rain is falling. Yes, these are winter photos! I grew up in a completely different climate with extremely polarized seasons, so this is pretty bizarre for me still.
I am digging 1950's blouses hard right now. While I love the prevalence of ascots/bow details on 1970's/1980's blouses I am not a huge fan of puff shoulders, which both eras seem to be in love with. The 1950's seemed to work with a simple cut and instead focused on making the blouse unique with fabric and detailing - like the chiffon, fancy collar, and little gem buttons on this piece.
Colourblocking has been a big deal this season, but rather than pair jewel tones I prefer for an easier transition between soft colours. I really prefer navy/maroon together than a firetruck red and royal blue, although, that's totally up to taste!
I hope everyone is having a solid start to their week! I'm off to do homework. (What else is new, Mitzi.)

GREAT collar. I shall look up that brand immediately. x
You look so wonderful!! I love the blouse, and the colour of that skirt is amazing. I wish I lived somewhere green all year, or at least without it being -30 like it was today

I am color blocking shy! Love your top too.
I'm loving that pretty blouse with the cool collar worn with it. I enjoy blouses too, but of all eras. As long as they're pretty or unique! And yours definitely is pretty.
i adore your top and skirt so much. :)
i have work on weekends and like you, yeah, what else is new.
That collar is, seriously, amazing. And you're lucky it stays green there. It's so grey and... 'meh' around here these days. Unless the skies show gorgeous sunsets I long for spring, when everything returns green and lovely.
That's a great blouse, you got there, especially with the collar. Greetings from Germany:)
This outfit is so you Mitzi and I love it oh so much! That blouse is to die for! I love the oversized, scalloped collar and the pleats! We have the same kind of winters here in California hehe!
I'm madly in love with everything in this outfit, it all is so cute and feminine! I adore the skirt, such a rich colour and and the blouse is adorable, lovely peter pan collar <3
