Little Red Beret

beret: via H&M
blazer: via thrift
dress: via H&M
oxford heels: via consignment shop

When I showed my friends this red beret I scored at H&M they said, "don't you already own that?" It is one of those items that I feel is so conducive to my style that it will fit right in with the rest of my closet! I try to avoid impulse buying trend items that while may seem super sweet on the rack... don't really fit in with what I wear on a day-to-day basis.

That's not to say I don't ever wear crazy things! I found a belt that is a white snake with blue jewels for eyes in a thrift store months ago. I am waiting for the perfect outfit combo to whip it out.

Oh, and thank-you for the helpful comments on my previous post about my own problems with commenting! I got it figured out. Something to do with cookies.

Loving the beret! Got the same one just a couple of days ago and can't wait to wear it! It's not cold enough yet but your take on it has me inspired, so I might even wear it earlier, just to try it out :)

This striped dress is so perfect with the blazer and red beret, I love it. It's so great when you can find something that fits in perfectly with the rest of your wardrobe. And that snake belt sounds amazing!

I'm totally going to buy that red beret too, I chickened out because it's still so warm around these parts but berets always make my heart sing. Lovely parisian street artist look! :D

You are such a cutie patootie.
This hat looks so great on you-- I'm the same way with my cardigans. I have a ton of mustard cardigans, sweaters, etc. ;)

I'm not a thrift shopper, either... though I do tend to go in spurts where I feel like I need to replenish my closet because I've begun to hate EVERYTHING I have over night. Pretty dramatic, but that's me.

I love this combo of stripes, navy blazer and red beret. It's the ultimate classic, timeless and polished ensemble, but it's also the quintessence of your very 60s-European-Chic vibe you always have. I would wear everything you're wearing, but I doubt I'd rock it half as well as you.
