Tomboy II

blazer: silence + noise via Urban Outfitters
blouse: via Winners Inc.
shorts: via The Bay
heels: via consignment shop
lipstick: Mauve It Over by Revlon

Mixing masculine and feminine pieces is one of my favourite clothing contrasts. Oxford heels unto themselves are a clash of a masculine shoe paired with the modern femininity of a heel.

I prefer to stick in one colour palette, pairing soft tones with similar shades. There is nothing like lounging in the summer sun in belted shorts and a blazer!

It's my night off and I am going to whip up some vegan banana pancakes, watch Spirited Away, and paint my nails blue.

i love wearing really girly dresses then putting on boyish clunky shoes - the mix is so fun! i love how your shorts look like boys school shorts (:

Spirited Away is one of my favorite movies! Ah! I feel like watching it now :) You look wonderful as usual. I have yet to try pairing masculine and feminine pieces together even though it's been done for so long now. I don't really think I have any masculine pieces in my wardrobe now that I think about it...haha.

I love the masculine/feminine mix! The color palette is dark yet it looks amazing! I've never heard of Spirited Away but I will have to watch that movie :)
