I found this coat in a vintage store. It has such a unique shape, and is cut from mustard-coloured wool. I didn't end up buying it and didn't expect it to be there when I went back a week later - but it was! And now it is mine! The collar is monstrous and either sits on my shoulders or I can fold it up to make a hood. It was difficult to capture all the wondrous shapes I can create, but expect to see this coat paired with a variety of outfits over the coming months.
I'm sure you've picked up on my love of neutrals by now. But, inspired by colour gurus like Erin of calivintage and lovely Lydia of Style is Style, I wore colour! I even mixed them together!!
P.S. I have been having so much trouble lately with TinyPic either taking forever to load my photos or loading half of them or timing out and not loading them at all. It puts a real strain on the little time I have for updating. Ugh!

LOVE this coat. You look awesome.
Great mix of colours! That coat is fantastic, and I love the print on your blouse!
I feel your pain, it's so annoying when you have a set amount of time to do blog stuff and computers don't want to cooperate! Thank for sticking it out and posting anyway :D

Those colours are great! the print on the shirt ties it all in so wonderfully.
Glad that beauty was still there when you went back

Absolutely adore the colour mixing in this outfit, and that coat is all sorts of gorgeous! Lydia and Erin have been a great inspiration to me too when it comes to colours and pattern mixing
The color mixing here is genius! I love that green with the mustard yellow! You look lovely in color dear--you should definitely wear it more often. The coat was such a great find. I can't wait to see how else you style it. Mustard yellow is such a great color! I want more of it in my closet :)
I love that song and that crazy coat! such a statement piece, and mustard is a very underrated color. The right balance between fug and fab if you ask me :D
you did such a great job mixing these colors! this is by far one of my favorite outfits recently!! soooo darn cute! ^,^
Adorable coat! great find, girl! I also love the color of that cardigan and skirt, a nice change :) Sorry about the photo issues, hope they get better soon!
I looove the coat!!!
BTW:I gave you "The Versatile Blogger" Award today!!! :)
the coat is amazing. absolutely love it!
Aww this outfit is perfection! With and without this awesome coat! But the coat adds the perfect elegant touch! And the colour combo! Mustard and petrol blue are two of my favourite colours! Beautiful!
I like the print of your blouse. Mustard is always a wonderful color! I do really want the ottoman jacket in mustard from American Apparel. Eeeep. I've always wanted it, but it's 80 bucks goddamnit! I use flickr, it's really good! Better than photobucket and I was using that for my old blog, but it just worsened the resolution of my photos over time. Lame. Flickr retains the resolution! :)
i love the color scheme... the mustard and hunter green look so good together!
